A veritable do-it-all daily driver, the spanking-new 2016 Kia Optima is, in our humble opinion, one of the finest four-doors on the road today.
Don't quite buy it? Suspect that we at Lion Country Kia are just blowing smoke? Well, think again. Get the straight dope about the overhauled Optima from our friends at Autotrader. Their review is available in the clip below:
While each and every engine within the Optima lineup is excellent, we believe it's the mid-level iteration that just may make the strongest push for your business.
Motivated by a turbo 1.6-liter four-cylinder, this version of the Optima makes a massive 178 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. What's more, this engine is also the most efficient of the lot, with an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 32 mpg combined (28 city/39 highway). No matter how you slice it, this drivetrain is altogether undenaiable.
