How Do I Set up Bluetooth® in my Kia?
- Select "Bluetooth Connections" on your vehicle's media screen while also pulling up the Bluetooth app in your smartphone
- On Bluetooth Connections screen, select "add new," and on your smartphone, select Bluetooth device labeled "KIA MOTORS"
- Bluetooth pairing will send you a code, which comes up on the infotainment screen- confirm this code and allow the phone to pair your apps through Favorites Sync

If you have Siri, you can use this home device through Siri Eyes Free. First, make sure you pair your phone with Bluetooth and make sure that you activate Siri on your phone. Then, press and hold the "Talk" on the steering wheel, which should pull up the Siri feature. You may then talk to Siri as you normally would or take your finger off the talk button after the beep to cancel Siri.
Can I Connect my iPad/Tablet Device into my Kia Using the Same Apps?
No, Apple and Samsung do not support these auto-pairing apps through their tablet devices. Pairing an iPad/Tablet is not recommended as it can increase distracted driving.
Can I Access Remote Vehicle Features Through Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™?
No. However, these features come available through the UVO connected car system, available on many new Kia models. Through the UVO link, you will be able to lock/unlock your car from your smartphone, as well as starting the engine, audio system, and climate control, all remotely.
